Welcome to MOPS! –At MOPS our Mission is to encourage, equip and develop EVERY mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a women, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
What results is a feeling of authentic community. Experience warmth and shared wisdom from other moms, not all the same age, lifestyles or backgrounds, but all with a shared desire to be the best mommies.
Missoula Moppets Ministry combines experience and love for Jesus in caring for your children so you as the Mom can get the most out of your time at MOPS.
Moppets provides quality care and programming for children ages 0-5. Older home-schooled children are welcome to join as well.

Missoula MOPS Bible Study will be starting on, November 12th 2013 from 10:00am-12:00pm. The Bible Study will be on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the Month until the end of March. The book we will be reading is “Known and Loved: 52 Devotions from the Psalms” By Caryn Rivadeneira. Cost of the book and childcare is $35. That amount covers your book, childcare for 10 meetings, coffee, and great conversation. Totally a bargain! That said, we don’t want to exclude anyone due to financial hardship. If the money is an issue for you, please let us know.
To sign up or for more information please e-mail Lisa Noble: firstname.lastname@example.org
Here’s a teaser from the book introduction:
“Behind the smiling face of many moms is a woman who, in the joyful process of raising her kids, has lost a bit of herself. If you wrestle with feelings of loneliness or are struggling to rediscover your own sense of worth, these 52 devotions drawn from the Psalms show you how God sees you, what he created you to do, and how he created you to be. Caryn Rivadeneira takes you through ten major areas of identity, weaving in stories from her own life and from the lives of other moms, to show you that you are truly know and truly loved.”
I wanted to also share this quote from the Book:
“When we SHOW LOVE and LIVE OUT
this wonderful reflection of
GOD’S IMAGE, we point our kids to the
GIVER OF LOVE, to GOD HIMSELF.”
Good afternoon ladies-
I am so excited for MOPS this year. Our theme is A Beautiful Mess. I am sure we can all relate to that. With 4 kids I feel like I am always dealing with some sort of mess. Some are beautiful and some are not, but I know I can handle them as long as I put my trust in God.
We are making some changes to MOPS this year to make it even more fun and educational. We will have meetings with special guests, usable crafts, tips and tricks, and other fun things. We also have a moppets program that will take care of the kids and teach them a different lesson each meeting. Our kids are placed in classes according to age with 2 adults in each room, more if needed.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month September-May at the Christian Life Church from 10-12. We would love to have you join us for some adult fun time.
Hope to see you-
May is our last month for Mops this Season. (pause for sniffs) I know I’m sad too. But we still have two great meetings planned that you will not want to miss. Both meetings in May are going to be great ones to bring new friends to if you’ve been waiting to invite someone.
May 1st is our Tea and Testimony. This year we are calling it our “Garden Party” so if you are feeling up to it, put on a fun springy dress and join us for tea, yummy treats and some wonderful testimonies from three of our Mops Moms. If you were at our last meeting you may have been assigned something to bring to decorate your table, please make sure you don’t forget to bring those things. If something should come up and you cannot make it PLEASE contact your table leader so they can make other arrangements!
May 15th will be our last meeting. We will be having our End of the Year party where everyone gets to bring a dish to share! We would love it if you would all either bring your recipe on a card that we might copy or just send it to us in an email so that we can share it with everyone who loves it! This is always a fun meeting to plan play dates over the summer and exchange contact information with the ladies that you haven’t already done so with.
This has been a great Mops season, lets end it with fun and fellowship. See you all there!
For those of you who were unable to join us this last meeting, Tracy shared this fundraiser with us.
Her neighbor/family friend is involved with the organization raising money to send med students from the U to help with medical aid in India this summer.
The event is on April 22nd at 11am, on the Kim Williams Trail. Save some money and pre-register.
